Meet Trevor
I’ve chased adventure — scuba diving in Indonesia, riding a motorcycle across Cambodia, working in new cultures and unfamiliar places. Those experiences shaped me and taught me a lot about risk, courage, and perspective. But the most meaningful journey turned out to be the inner one — learning to face my own fears, slow down, and live with more awareness and connection. I know what it’s like to look steady on the outside but feel uneasy or unsure on the inside.
Many of the men I meet say things like:
“I can’t stop overthinking — my brain won’t shut off.”
“I feel nervous around people, like I don’t fit in.”
“My partner says I come across as distant, angry or passive”
“I should be further ahead in life, but I’m not sure what to do.”
If that sounds familiar, you’re not broken — you’re human. Life can feel like a constant push between keeping it together and wondering why it still feels off inside. I help men slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and build the tools to feel more clear, connected and purposeful in their lives and relationships
How I Can Support You
I work with men who want to get past their current struggles with anxiety, career, relationships, identity, or life transitions and move through life with more choice, steadiness, and direction. We’ll look at the noise, understand what’s driving it, and build a plan you can trust.
My approach combines straightforward conversation with attention to what’s happening underneath, because the body often tells the story the mind skips over. Helping you notice what’s happening in the moment without judgment, so you can respond to life rather than react to it. Together, we work at a pace that feels safe and practical to enact change in your daily life.
Why Work With Me
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 20 years working at some of Canada’s top charities and teaching as a college instructor. I understand the demands of work — the constant pull between striving for success and trying to maintain a healthy, connected life. I’ve also competed as an athlete, experiences that taught me discipline, humility, and how to stay steady under pressure.
I’m also a men’s team facilitator for the organization Mentor, Discover, Inspire, where self mastery meets the ripple effect. I lead weekly meetings that empower men to create greatness in the lives of themselves, their families and the community. Those experiences gave me a deep respect for human resilience and the belief that growth happens through honest connection.
I bring warmth, life experience, and a direct and steady presence to the work, helping you understand yourself more deeply, and build the inner grounding to move forward with clarity and confidence.
Let’s Work Together
People often wonder if therapy will work for them. I provide a welcoming and trusted process that is straightforward and only requires you to show up as yourself.
I encourage you to take the first step towards balance, better understanding of yourself and moving towards your goals

Types of Therapy
-
Gestalt Therapy focuses on increasing present-moment awareness and understanding how your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations interact. If you find yourself feeling disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or unsure how to express your needs, this approach helps you become more attuned to what is happening within and around you. Through experiential techniques, dialogue, and exploration of unfinished business, you gain clarity about how you relate to yourself, others, and your environment. This deeper awareness supports more authentic choices, improved emotional regulation, and a greater sense of personal agency.
-
Psychodynamic Therapy helps you explore unconscious patterns, past experiences, and deep-seated emotions that influence your thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. If you struggle with recurring life challenges, emotional distress, or unresolved conflicts, this approach guides you in gaining self-awareness and understanding the root causes of your struggles. By working through these insights in a supportive therapeutic space, you can develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. This process fosters emotional growth, self-acceptance, and long-term positive change.
-
Person-Centered Therapy provides a compassionate, non-judgmental space where your experiences, values, and emotions are fully honored. If you’re seeking clarity, struggling with self-doubt, or wanting to reconnect with your strengths, this approach helps you tap into your natural capacity for growth. Through genuine empathy, acceptance, and collaboration, you’re supported in exploring your inner world at a pace that feels right for you. This process enhances self-understanding, strengthens confidence, and encourages meaningful, sustainable change grounded in your own direction and wisdom.
